Who are the Friends of Holden Street Theatres? (FOHST)

The Friends of Holden Street Theatres (FOHST) are a dedicated group of volunteers from all walks of life who come together to celebrate theatre, contribute to the development of Holden Street, and form a community of theatre and arts lovers here in South Australia.

FOHST are a vital part of HST and contribute to the venue through staffing, training, events management, catering, development of venue facilities, fundraising, and social activities for our pool of volunteers.

Since the introduction of FOHST in 2017, the venue has gone from strength to strength, and the FOHST team have been instrumental in many of the large-scale developments throughout the venue, both during our busy Adelaide Fringe season, and throughout the year.

Getting Involved With FOHST

There are many opportunities for volunteering and working with FOHST throughout the year at Holden Street Theatres. Most importantly, you'll meet like-minded people and become a part of a creative community that thrives on fun, excitement, and great theatre!

We require a larger volunteer base outside of the Adelaide Fringe season, and training and support is always provided.

We also need volunteers to take responsibility for specific areas, such as Garden & Grounds Maintenance and Catering.

Let us know if you'd like to become involved with FOHST by contacting foholdenstreet@gmail.com.

To those who already do so much with and for FOHST - thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
